Master in Information Engineering

I came to the University of Porto within the Lotus Unlimited project under the Eramus Mundus scholarship framework.

I have to say that I’m having an awesome experience. The staff is great and very helpful and the professors from my course have profound knowledge, they are funny and close to the students. During the time here I have absolutely improved my knowledge on Communication Engineering, as well as my researching skills. I was lucky when one of my Professors offered me a research position. Now he is the supervisor of my thesis. He also recommended me to several PhD positions and research positions at R&D centers. All of these make me believe that when you try your hard, good things will happen.

Besides, this time at the University of Porto has taught me to respect different cultures and to see that the world can be one big family.

The city of Porto contains in itself such a spirit that cannot be found anywhere else. I have no wonders why Porto was twice awarded the honor of “Best European Destination” of the year, by the European Consumers Choice. Everytime I go for a walk, I keep falling in love with Porto. The city is small, cosy and really unique. I had the chance to see Sao Joao festival the last two years and, believe me, this is one of the best festivals!

FEUP definitely prepares me for my future career and   I would for sure recommend it to those who want to study abroad.
