SERVICES ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT
OBJECTIVES
Today, the service sector represents more than 70% of production and employment in the most developed world economies, and its relevance is increasing everywhere. Service provision involves people, processes, and technologies. As such, developing and managing services requires multidisciplinary competencies in diverse areas, such as technology and social sciences.
The Master in Service Engineering and Management (MESG) aims at developing competencies to conceive, design, implement and operate technology-enabled service systems.

The unique combination of service engineering and management competencies of MESG graduates make them particularly capable of:
- Designing and implementing technology-enabled services, fostering innovation in organizations;
- Supporting IT companies in leveraging their technology to create valuable service solutions, especially at the interface between IT and service;
- Supporting manufacturing companies in adding valuable service components to their offerings, in order to create more complete solutions to their customers;
- Understand, model, and design business processes in organizations.
