Doctoral Programme in Physics Engineering

I first came to Porto for three months with the “Leonardo da Vinci”, a program for students that finished their first degree. I really enjoyed the city of Porto and i wanted to have the experience of studying and living abroad. I was searching to do a Master Programme and found the Master in Multimedia at FEUP. As I finished “Computer engineering & Informatics” in Greece, this Master was ideal for me to continue my studies.
As a matter of personal development, it is very important to continue education throughout life, especially in the technological field. Of course the acquisition of one or more diplomas has an added value in one’s curriculum and helps to focus and specialize in a specific area.
One of the reasons why I chose this Master is that there’s a large variety of subjects to choose from. Another advantage is that people from different areas gather and work together exchanging opinions. Last but not least, a lot of seminars take place at FEUP which is really helpful in guiding the students in their future academic or professional career.
The professors are very kind and helpful, especially for students like me, who are not totally familiar with the Portuguese language. FEUP buildings are very new and the library is a very nice place to study in.
