The Symposium on Informatics will be held in the scope of the 5th Doctoral Congress Engineering (DCE23), hosted at FEUP, Porto, Portugal, on the 15th and 16th of June 2023.
The goal of the Informatics Symposium is to showcase the research that the students of the Ph.D. programs PRODEI , PDMD and MAP-i carry out.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
1. Computing Systems Architectures
2. Computer Graphics and Interactive Digital Media
3. Information Systems
4. Sciences and Technology Programming
5. Software Engineering
6. Artificial intelligence and Data Science
Submission of presentation proposals
Students of PRODEI, PDMD, and MAP-i are invited to present papers that have already been published. No ethical, editorial, or ownership conflicts can occur, given that the organization will only prepare a book of abstracts, with the abstract of the original paper and the reference to it.

Best Presentation Award
The Informatics Symposium will distinguish one of the presentations as the “Best Informatics Symposium Presentation Award,” with a prize of 1,500.00€.
Registration and Payment
Registration is mandatory for all participants. All PDMD, PRODEI, and Map-I students are invited to register for DCE23’s Symposium in Informatics and will have their registration costs covered.
