The 2026 Sustainability Week at FEUP is dedicated to sustainability, sustainable mobility, sports and the participation of the FEUP community.

• 22/Sept – Car-Free Day: leave your car at home and choose more sustainable means of transport. Take part in this initiative and contribute to more sustainable mobility at FEUP. Register here!

• 23/Sept – 7th edition of the “De Bicla para a FEUP” Cycling Competition: cycle to campus and take part in the 7th edition of the competition promoting active and sustainable mobility. Competition rules coming soon!

• 26/Sept – 2nd Sustainability Run: take part in this charity run/walk, an initiative of FEUP promoted in partnership with FEP, FMDUP, and CDUP.
  • The initiative also has the support of other faculties at the Asprela campus, I3S, INEGI, INESC TEC, and Águas do Porto, reinforcing the collaborative and cross-cutting nature of this initiative to promote sustainability in the academic community and its surroundings.
  • This sporting event also has an important solidarity aspect, since the registration fees are entirely donated to CASA – Centro de Apoio ao Sem Abrigo (Center for Support for the Homeless), contributing to the work developed by the institution with people experiencing homelessness.
  • The winner (male and female) of the race will be awarded a registration for the São Silvestre do Porto 2026, which will take place on December 20th.
