Guidelines

If you intend to submit a paper (or more) for the Congress, please do so before registering.

At least one author of each accepted abstract (oral communication or poster) – its’ presenter – must register in the Congress. Submitted abstracts with no authors registered in the Congress, will not be included in the Congress Booklet, nor in the Symposia Proceedings.

To register, please fill:

Registration Form I (for DCE 2017 fee payment)
Registration Form II (for DCE 2017 workshops)
Registration Form III (for DCE 2017 Alumni Pitch session – FOR ALUMNI ONLY. Dont fill out this form if you intend to participate in the rest of the Congress)

Besides the automatic email acknowledging you have submitted the registration form, further information will be sent to you later, by email.

If you don’t receive an email in a week time, please contact us (dce@fe.up.pt).

Registration will be complete and finished only after DCE17 Organizing Committee sends you the ‘Confirmation’ email.

Please note that unpaid registration will not be considered as a valid registration unless fully paid and confirmed.

Registration fees

At least one author of each accepted abstract (oral communication or poster) – its’ presenter – must pay a registration fee, by May 20^th, for that abstract to appear in the Congress Booklet and be included in the Symposia Books of Abstracts.
Only registered authors with a paid fee will receive a certificate.

All Congress fees are stated including the VAT * TBD

Registration Fee includes: Entrance of 1 participant in the Congress, all plenary sessions, all Coffee Breaks, all Congress lunches and 1 Congress Kit. Participation in workshops is NOT included in the fee value. The Congress dinner is NOT included in the fee value.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: In case of cancellation of registration or of the extras, a written notification should be sent to the conference e-mail (dce@fe.up.pt) with the subject ‘Cancellation’. If it is received prior to May 20th, 2017, registration fees will be refunded with a deduction of 25%. No refund can be made after June 2nd, 2017. In case of cancellation of accommodation, this should be taken care directly with the accommodation service.

Insurance: The registration fees do not include insurance of participants against accidents, sickness, cancellation, theft, property damage or loss. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance.
