The Project

The project "Potential of Rheologically-Optimized Magnetic Emulsions in Hemotherapy", with reference 2023.17217.ICDT, aims to develop a magnetic-driven drug delivery system compatible with the viscoelastic properties of human blood. The optimisation aims to enhance a magnetic Pickering emulsion's formulation for compatibility with human blood, precise transportation, disarming capability, and minimising patient impact. All this is guided by comprehensive rheological characterisa/on and state-of-the-art hydrodynamics assessment techniques.
