The 2024 edition of ‘BIN@PORTO 2024’ annual event was a true success and had a record number of participants coming from Portugal and abroad. The event had about 600 registrations and 500 participants. Out of these approx. 500 participants, around 120 delegates came from various EU countries, the US, the UK and Brazil, but also from Norway, Indonesia, Mexico, Switzerland and Ukraine, amongst others. The event unravelled over the three days, 22 – 24 October, and included Open Sessions, Action Tank panels and a series of various sessions that took place at UPTEC.
The 2024 edition was also special because it embedded in its activities also the international Staff Training Week: Innovation Porto ‘Promoting Open Innovation in HEIs’ that included as participants the science & innovation support officers from almost 50 universities across Europe.
New contacts made during the BIN@PORTO 2024 event also paved the way for issuing 6 invitations for new partners becoming the Associated Members of the BIN@ network.
