We represent the IEM students in the Faculty of Engineering of Porto and our main goal is the personal and professional development of our members, taking up on their motivation and willingness to learn. We have a varied scope of work, ranging from marketing to logistics and external relations, among others.
Our goal is not only to provide our students with the best tools for their growth, but also assure that they have the time of their lives while doing it.
To give our community an even broader perspective, ESTIEM works on establishing an european network of IEM students, allowing them to share experiences and work on the global improvement of nowadays education. Among all 76 local groups, from the north to the the south of europe, Local Group Porto stands out for keeping active and being the host of many epic events throughout the years.
FEUP is one of the most prestigious and demanding faculties in Portugal for engineering studies, providing degrees in various areas, from mechanics to computer science and civil engineering. It’s a national reference for multiple organizations, both national and international, not only for its academic formation but also for its role in investigation and innovation.
