The “New FEUP Masters” Celebration will take place on November 22, 2025 – one of the symbolic and memorable moments of our Institution.
This celebration aims to mark the conclusion of the 2024/25 academic year, which awarded the Master’s degree to around 1,000 students of our Faculty. It promises the same enthusiasm and dedication as always, to salute and honor those who have prepared themselves to embrace the challenges of the professional world in the field of Engineering.
In this new stage ahead, we wish that the New Masters may become agents of constructive change, capable of improving and energizing the companies and organizations in which they will collaborate or lead, contributing to the sustainable development of the planet, and helping to build a new global model to end poverty, promote prosperity and well-being for all, protect the environment and fight climate change—challenges in which engineers must play a highly significant role.
FEUP is proud to have accompanied you until this point and keeps its doors open for the future, assuming the commitment to explore joint forms of cooperation to strengthen FEUP’s connection with the socio-economic fabric, to define lifelong learning programs, to improve communication with Alumni and among Alumni, thus creating lifelong ties with your Alma Mater.
Through a dedicated faculty and a team of highly qualified researchers and technical staff, FEUP has become a reference in Engineering education in Portugal and worldwide. Beyond the remarkable work developed in teaching, FEUP also stands out for its important role in research and development, as well as in the economic and social valorization of knowledge. These are the marks of quality that inspire the FEUP brand and contribute to dignifying the institution and to FEUP’s development and recognition at both national and international levels. This is the legacy that we believe will echo in your professional projects and serve as the foundation for your success. The future of the FEUP brand depends on all of us, and we count on this new generation of Masters to take it even further.
The celebration is dedicated to the students who completed their Master’s degrees, to their professors and the many FEUP professionals who supported them, and, of course, to their families and friends who, even in the face of difficulties, were always by their side.
It is therefore with great satisfaction and pride that I extend my warmest personal and professional congratulations to the New FEUP Masters and invite all those interested to take part in this memorable celebration.
