It leads in patent filings in France and Europe. The Molecular Labelling and Bio-organic Chemistry Unit at CEA specializes in isotopic labelling, bioactive molecules, biology tools, and nanoscience, unified by expertise in organic chemistry.
FRAUNHOFER IME
Fraunhofer IME, part of Europe’s largest application-oriented research organization Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, ranks #2 in the European Research Ranking 2020.
Specializing in plant biotechnology, IME excels in molecular biology, genome editing, and metabolic engineering, and was the first in Europe to produce biopharmaceuticals in plants for clinical trials.
IME is also a leader in developing industrial-scale processes for recombinant protein production in plant cultures.

The multidisciplinary team possesses expertise in EU funding for R&I, project management, and the commercialization of research results.
