Between the lines: World Mental Heatlh Day at FEUP 2025

Romantic relationships in youth and early adulthood play a key role in personal and social development and can sometimes subtly become dysfunctional and cause psychological and physical suffering.

Dating violence and cyberbullying can seriously affect mental health, leading to isolation and even self-harming behavior, due to the impact that control mechanisms, jealousy, humiliation, and threats have on victims.

The main purpose of the “Between the Lines”* campaign is to promote dialogue and reflection on these phenomena, allowing us to deconstruct myths, prevent risky situations, and, above all, reinforce the importance of relationships based on respect, equality, and freedom.
