ANDREAS SALOM

In 2014, while searching in Namibia for opportunities to study abroad, I decided to apply for the course Master in Mining and Geo-Environmental Engineering, MEMG, at FEUP, within the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Program KITE. MEMG at FEUP, is an engineering course internationally accredited by EUR-ACE and A3ES since years ago. MEMG is designed to form competent engineers with the capability to solve mining and geo-environmental technical challenges in various domains of intervention, offering high quality and knowledgeable tuition. FEUP is a very international institution, allowing a rich multicultural experience either for incoming as well as for outgoing students. Overall, my stay at the Mining Department, DEM-FEUP during the last years has enrichened my experience in such a way that I decided to pursue my education,  enrolling in the Doctoral Program in Mining and Geo-Resources Engineering, PDEMGR.
