The European Green Deal, the Renovation Wave, and the New European Bauhaus demand a new approach to both building procedures and performance. TL3 will contribute to it under 4 axes:

a) Processes & Management for Innovative Construction - contribute to a disruption in the construction ecosystem, making it more agile, modern, and better productivity, rethinking the management of the entire value chain:

• Integration of Information and management systems
• Procurement and new and more efficient contractual models
• Productivity, mechanisation and sensing in the future construction sites

b) Digital building(s) - Construction lags significantly behind in its use of digital tools and is slow to adopt new materials, methods, and technology. Hence the following will be developed:

• Next-generation BIM and Digital Twins
• Whole building IEQ, energy and water consumption monitoring
• Machine learning for building surveying and non-destructive inspection
• 3D printing of Eco components

c) Built for life - Contribute to more evolutionary and durable building solutions, towards an inclusive, resilient built environment, acting mainly in lifecycle and building management strategies. The focus will be on the development of smart and sustainable envelope systems and façadesincorporating nano-enhanced materials and modular construction approaches.

d) Built for people - Contribute to a people-centric development of buildings with low-carbon approaches including the design for nZEB and Plusenergy buildings. Smart buildings will be enhanced by occupant behaviour studies. The study of hygrothermal and acoustic properties ofsustainable building materials and components will support the Eco-design of new solutions.
