YAME is a small robotic manipulator designed for educational purposes. It main goal is to give people access to a technology which is used in the industry with a simple mechanics, electronics, programming and also a reduced price. This project is based on MeArm project, taking this as a start point, making the arm 3D printable, more robust and giving additional features to the gripper.

This project was motivated by the necessity we had to build a small manipulator that could be used in a one week course for UP’s Junior University in FEUP.
