series <strong>\u201cInnovation for Circularity\u201d<\/strong>, an initiative that aims to present innovative projects focused on promoting the circular economy in the plastics sector \ud83c\udf0d.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this series, the <strong>5th session<\/strong> will take place on the next\u00a0<strong>May 13th, at 2:30 PM<\/strong>, in online format \ud83d\udcbb.<\/p>\n<p>The session will feature the participation of the Center for Nuclear Sciences and Technologies of the Instituto Superior T\u00e9cnico, as well as a guest from the University of Applied Sciences Dresden \ud83c\udde9\ud83c\uddea.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83e\uddea Session Theme<\/p>\n<p>Under the theme \u201cRadiation-assisted recycling of plastic waste\u201d, several examples of the application of this technology will be presented, including cases already implemented on an industrial scale and with high added value \u2699\ufe0f.<\/p>\n<p>The session will focus on responding to environmental challenges associated with plastic waste, highlighting innovative solutions for its valorization and reintegration into the economy \u267b\ufe0f, contributing to more sustainable and circular models \ud83c\udf31.<\/p>\n<h2>\ud83d\udccc Participation<\/h2>\n<p>Participation in the event is free, but subject to <strong>prior registration<\/strong> for entities external to the Portuguese Plastics
