According to a study on FEUP&#8217;s environmental impact, more than 40% of our community uses cars for their daily commute, representing the main source of CO<sub>2<\/sub> emissions.<\/p>\n<p>In order to reduce FEUP\u2019s carbon footprint and to celebrate this European Mobility Week, especially <strong>World Car-Free Day<\/strong>, which will be held at FEUP on September 23, we invite the entire community to participate in the following initiatives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bicla for FEUP Contest<\/strong> (From 16\/9 \u2013 15\/11):<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/fe.up.pt\/sustent\/concurso-de-bicla-para-a-feup-2024\/\">Participate<\/a> and get a chance to win a 150\u20ac DECATHLON voucher!<\/li>\n<li><strong>World Car-Free Day<\/strong> &#8211; Commit to sustainable mobility!<br \/>\nFill in this <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/fjUbKVFAezhLAbq89\">form<\/a> by September 22 and pledge to use sustainable transportation on September 23. By participating, you will enter a raffle for three 50\u20ac Fnac vouchers, to be drawn among the platform subscribers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bicycle Repair Caf\u00e9<\/strong>, organized by CDUP (23\/9; 2:30 PM &#8211; 4:30 PM):<br \/>\nBring your bike and join us for a fun, practical event!
