During his time there, he delved into the domains of static and dynamic structural analyses, as well as honing his IT skills. These acquired skills have proven to be invaluable assets throughout his professional journey. Upon returning from Norway, he started working as a researcher at the University of Porto, focusing predominantly on the fatigue of offshore structures and welded connections. He has successfully published several articles in renown journals and developed his state of knowledge in the field of offshore fatigue. Currently, his research interests are focused on advanced methodologies for the fatigue damage assessment of offshore structures. His research seeks to explore the potential for readapting these structures to pave the way for future offshore blue and green energy generation.
