Delving into ocean and offshore-related engineering, numerical computation approach not only fosters innovative ideas but has become the go-to solution for tackling complex engineering challenges in harsh environments.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Key highlights include Jos\u00e9 A.F.O. Correia&#8217;s keynote lecture, where he shared insights on &#8220;Promoting Multiscale Fatigue to Design Reliable and Sustainable Structures&#8221;, and his moderation of a parallel session. Additionally, Professor\u00a0Jos\u00e9 A.F.O. Correia was honored with the prestigious Philo Mecanicus award in recognition of his significant contributions to the field of structural integrity.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Further, Paulo Mendes\u00a0presented a work entitled &#8220;Reliability Local Fatigue Design Challenges of Transition Pieces from Decommissioned Platforms for Offshore Wind Energy&#8221; alongside\u00a0Carlos Souto, Taemin Heo,\u00a0Nicholas Fantuzzi, Lance Manuel and\u00a0Jos\u00e9 A.F.O. Correia.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>We extend our gratitude to the COTech organization, particularly to Professor\u00a0Sudath C. Siriwardane and Professor\u00a0Dimitrios Pavlou, for their warm hospitality.
