is a research group at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) that is dedicated to the study of the integrity of materials and structures. SIReL&#8217;s main focus is to contribute to the understanding of fracture and fatigue mechanisms, the development of new materials, and the design of safer and more reliable structures, including a wide range of engineering structures.
