He is currently an Energy Consultant at CoLAB +ATLANTIC in the energy sub-domain, working in the promotion of the Portuguese offshore test sites. M\u00e1rio has been gathering, for the past 9 years, expertise on offshore renewable energies at the experimental, numerical and socioeconomic levels. She is currently a Researcher at LNEG and the responsible for the Wind Energy Area. She is an Invited Professor at the Sciences Faculty of the University of Lisbon, and alternate Member at IEA Wind and EERA Wind. Her main research interests and work developed until now, are related with wind resource assessment in complex, urban and offshore environments, CFD modeling and development of planning methodologies for the installation of Renewable Energy Systems.
