Aim and Scope

The International Symposium on Advanced Materials and Applications (AdMat 2025) will be organised within the International Conference on Renewable Energies and Ocean Technologies (REOTech 2025).
This symposium is intended to be a forum of discussion of theoretical and experimental studies related to processing, properties, and performance of materials and applications. This symposium is focused on understanding the structure-property relationship of materials, using experimental and numerical methods of characterization at different scales to understand the effect of nano-, micro- and macrostructure on mechanical, electronic and chemical properties, including the applied corrosion, the degradation of materials and components, and surface engineering. Besides, the topics related to the performance and characterization of structural components and connections (riveted, bolted and welded joints, etc.), including hybrid components and connections, are also intended. In all topics to be covered, multidisciplinary approaches and emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, data science, computing in mechanical sciences, as well as manufacturing processes and efficient processes related to advanced materials and components are welcome.
