The FEUP Industry Liaison Office has a multidisciplinary approach to the challenges companies are facing to compete in demanding international markets and can identify opportunities to improve processes, products and services. After diagnosis, consortium or subcontracted research may be proposed and funding instruments activated.

Universities are economic engines, as they are major contributors to the innovation processes, the key driver of corporate competitive advantage. Companies may consider strategic the co-location of their innovation centres in the campus, benefiting from the proximity to the talent and the knowledge production of the University.

ENDOWED CHAIRS
Endowed chairs are crucial for recruiting and retaining the highest-quality faculty, which also attracts the brightest students.
