{"id":1766,"date":"2017-07-06T17:38:25","date_gmt":"2017-07-06T17:38:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fe.up.pt\/miete\/?p=1766"},"modified":"2023-03-22T15:10:45","modified_gmt":"2023-03-22T15:10:45","slug":"1766","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fe.up.pt\/miete\/?p=1766","title":{"rendered":"FRAMIE overall winner of Venture Cup Portugal&#8217;s"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>FRAMIE\u00a0overall winner of Venture Cup Portugal&#8217;s first edition\u00a0(April 2017)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Framie, a project started in the course of <a href=\"https:\/\/sigarra.up.pt\/feup\/en\/UCURR_GERAL.FICHA_UC_VIEW?pv_ocorrencia_id=384907\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" rel=\"nofollow\" >Project for Opportunity Identification and Evaluation<\/a> and was further developed on <a href=\"https:\/\/sigarra.up.pt\/feup\/en\/ucurr_geral.ficha_uc_view?pv_ocorrencia_id=384912\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" rel=\"nofollow\" >Business Construction Project<\/a> at MIETE (University of Porto), was the overall winner of Venture Cup Portugal&#8217;s first edition. The national university startup competition final took place on June 30th, at Casa da M\u00fasica, where 10 finalists had the chance to pitch their business.<\/p>\n<p>Judges stated to be impressed with Framie&#8217;s market potential, scalability and business model, which granted the victory to the team. The founders are now looking forward to the University Startup World Cup taking place in September 18-22, in Copenhagen, where they will be one of the teams representing Portugal.<\/p>\n<p>Framie&#8217;s mobile app will enable anyone to complete thematic collections with their own pictures, redesigning the way that we collect and live experiences.
