IRF2025 is the biennial International Conference on Integrity, Reliability and Failure of Engineering Systems and Materials

IRF2025 is the eighth international gathering of a prestigious series of conferences coordinated by the International Scientific Committee on Mechanics and Materials in Design. This series of conferences started in 1999 and they are wholly devoted to advances in assessing the integrity, reliability and failure of engineering systems, materials, manufacturing and biomechanics.

Important and dramatic improvements in systems and components design can be made by the use of the latest advances in Integrity, Reliability and Failure. Contributions in the fields of Nanotechnologies, Nanomaterials, Biomechanics and Experimental and Computational Mechanics applied to mechanical, aeronautical, space, civil, automotive, biomedical, environmental, and nuclear engineering will be welcome.

IRF2025 is planned for 15-18 July, 2025 in the beautiful city of Porto/Portugal, and it is sponsored by the University of Porto (Portugal), the University of Toronto (Canada) and the Society of Experimental Mechanics (Portugal). Topics of Interest, which are not limited to, include: Composite and Advanced Materials, Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics, Structural Dynamics, Mechanical Design and Prototyping, Civil and Structural Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, Impact and Crashworthiness, Biomechanics, Energy and Thermo-Fluid Systems, Industrial Engineering and Maintenance.
