DPP4SBE – DIGITAL PRODUCT PASSPORT-BASED SUSTAINABLE BUILT ENVIRONMENT

Date:

DPP4SBE: Digital Product Passport-Based Sustainable Built Environment, promoted by ICS, is an initiative for technology and knowledge transfer to the construction sector. It equips companies with a greater capacity to collect and maintain data on products, which is vital for sustainability and the circular economy.

The DPP4SBE will promote the implementation of Digital Product Passports for Construction (PDP-C) in the industry. This is in response to the new Ecodesign and Construction Products Regulations that advocate for the adoption and implementation of the Passport, based on technological requirements for its availability. Raising awareness and training companies is crucial, and the DPP4SBE creates a strategic and efficient approach for this transition. The DPP4SBE aims to adapt digital passport platforms to different realities, empower SMEs, and promote their effective adoption, contributing to sustainability, innovation, and efficiency in the construction sector.
