Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract + one powerpoint slide (Elevator Pitch).

Extended abstracts must be in English, should have a maximum of 2 pages and must be formatted using the LaTeX template provided below.

The elevator pitch should use the standard 4:3 size proportions. This size is equivalent to:

  • 10'' by 7.5''
  • 1024 by 768 pixels at 96dpi 
  • 25,4 cm by 19,05 cm


Both documents should be organized around the three following topics:

  1. The challenge
  2. The methodology
  3. The value to society

The submission is mandatory for PhD students of PRODEGI with permanent registration (i.e. that have already defended the research project proposal). All other students whose PhD supervisors are DEGI faculty are strongly encouraged to make a submission.
