Leading the Digital Transformation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div> The Symposium on Informatics, <\/em>part of the 6th<\/sup> Doctoral Congress in Engineering (DCE25), will take place at FEUP, Porto, Portugal, on June 30th<\/sup> and 1st <\/sup>of July 2025.<\/p>\n This Symposium is organized by PhD students of the Doctoral Program in Informatics Engineering (PRODEI), Doctoral Program in Digital Media (PDMD), and Doctoral Program in Computer Science (MAPi).<\/p>\n<\/div> The Symposium Organizing Committee is pleased to invite everyone interested in expanding and sharing their knowledge and expertise in the field of Informatics Engineering, Computer Science and Digital Media, to submit their work. This invitation is open to PhD and MSc students.<\/p>\n Topics for submission<\/strong> include (but are not limited to):<\/p>\n Submissions<\/strong><\/p>\n This symposium will have two tracks:<\/p>\n Presentation Format: Oral communication<\/em><\/p>\n Students are invited to submit an abstract of an already published paper (with DOI) in the scope of their PhD\/MSc work.<\/p>\n A selection of the best papers will be done based on the quality of the work and impact of the publication, assessed by a jury.<\/p>\n The submission must be done through the SCI-MEET platform<\/a>.<\/p>\n Presentation Format: 3 min pitch presentation and panel discussion<\/em><\/p>\n Students are invited to submit an abstract of a research proposal. PhD student can refer to their thesis project and MSc students can refer to their thesis dissertation as a research proposal for an eventual PhD application.<\/p>\n The submission must be done through the SCI-MEET platform<\/a>.<\/p>\n For more information, please click HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n Due to the high number of submissions to the Symposium on Informatics, it was necessary to adjust the presentation times for posters and oral communications.
