Call for abstracts <\/strong><\/p>\n

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to be a part of the Symposium on Biomedical Engineering, integrated on the Fifth Doctoral Congress in Engineering (DCE) which will be hosted at FEUP, Porto, Portugal on the 15th<\/sup> and 16th<\/sup> of June 2023.<\/p>\n

This Symposium aims to provide knowledge transfer between FEUP and other national and international participants, encouraging them to present their ongoing research and promote networking. Work presentations can be done in both oral and poster formats. The event is mainly focused on the participation of doctoral students, yet master students are also welcomed to submit their work.<\/p>\n

The Biomedical engineering symposium covers several topics such as: Bioimaging and radiation; Biomedical devices; Biomechanics; BioRobotics; Biomaterials and Artificial Organs; Neuroscience\/Neuroengineering; Bioinformatics; Computer Vision; Computer Modelling; Information Management and Hospital Equipment. Other subfields related to Biomedical Engineering are also accepted, please contact the committee for additional clarifications.<\/p>\n

All accepted and revised abstracts, with at least one author registered in the Congress with a paid fee, will be mentioned in the event\u2019s program\/Booklet and published in the Symposium Book of Abstracts (with ISBN).<\/p>\n

Registration (Payment)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Registration is mandatory for all participants. The cost of the presenting author will be supported by the Doctoral Programme in Biomedical Engineering (PRODEB).<\/p>\n
