=== Submission Instructions ===
* Authors should submit abstracts written in English (2 pages only). Please format your submission according to [[https://docs.google.com/uc?authuser=0&id=0B868Oh4bOsM5V0hmWF8yVWx2ckE&export=download|this]] template.
* Authors may submit more than one abstract, but only one will be accepted for oral presentation (the rest will be accepted as posters).
* Only electronic submissions through the conference submission web page ([[https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=dce15|EasyChair]]) will be accepted.
* Submissions will be reviewed and, based on the combined marks of the reviewers, they will be assigned either for oral or poster presentation.
After reviewed by authors, a Proceedings Book will be published with all abstracts.
In order to be published on the Proceedings Book, abstracts must have addressed the reviewers suggestions during the submission phase.
=== Awards ===
Submissions of abstracts will be eligible either for:
* Best Poster (best poster presentation)
* Best Oral communication (best oral presentation)
These will be decided by the Symposia Committee and will have the opportunity to win a community award (to be announced shortly).
=== Journal Publication ===
Authors will be invited to submit a full paper in a special issue of the [[http://feupedicoes.fe.up.pt/journals/index.php/upjeng/index | U.Porto Journal of Engineering]]. The announcement of the selected abstracts will be made after the congress, together with further instructions for the authors.
