The award celebrates outstanding, innovative and transferable teaching practices developed by individual lecturers or teaching teams, and gives them European visibility. The 2027 award will be presented during the AECEF\u2013EUCEET Joint Conference in Zagreb, to be held on 22\u201323 April 2027. The winner of the previous edition of the EUCEET Teaching Award will also be invited to deliver a keynote lecture during the conference. It has the name of the founder of AECEF and is an homage to his work and achievements in Civil Engineering, in European cooperation and in fostering understanding between faculties.
